My Favourite Christmas Films

my favourite christmas films

Tis the season to be jolly and the opportunity to re-watch your favourite Christmas films.

It’s the time of year when it’s acceptable to be a Hobbit, stay in, snuggle up in an armchair and eat as many meals as you can justify with mince pies in between.

One of the best parts of the Christmas holiday that comes with its own music, traditions, foods and films. I love Christmas films and I find it slightly sad we can only watch them during the winter months, as watching Buddy in NYC in snow in June doesn’t feel right.

So to soak up the goodness of your favourite Christmas films you have to try and watch as many as possible, as many times as you can, before it is unacceptable to watch them again.

I live by this and watch a least half an hour of a festive film every single day – I told you I love Christmas. Anyway, if you have any others to add to my life please let me know, but these are my favourite festive films that I rematch every year.

My Favourite Christmas Films:

  • Elf
  • The Santa Clause series
  • Love Actually
  • The Holiday
  • The Grinch who stole Christmas
  • The Nativity
  • Miracle on 34th Street
  • Home Alone
  • Frozen
  • Sleepless in Seattle (slightly Christmas-sy but I watch it all year too)
  • Die Hard (if you class it as a Christmas film)

What are your favourite Christmas films?
